Making Status Updates Optional Improves Success Rate

Among other cool benefits, Virally can help your campaigns ‘Go Viral’. One way we do this is helping users to tweet, post or share a status update pointing to your campaign.

When setting up a new campaign, you can decide if these updates should be Required, Optional or Disabled. If you choose required, the user will still be able to customise the message (apart from the URL) but if the user decides not to post the update, they wont receive the campaign reward and the lead process is aborted. Optional means it’s entirely upto the user – they can either post an update or hit the Skip button, and disabled means we don’t suggest an update at all.
